• Mold testing is typically performed with surface sampling of microslides which are then processed via the mycologist to determine not only the extent of the growth but the actual genis and species.  

• Problematic, opportunistic pathogens can be readily identified in this information and to the overall response.

• Additional sampling of the suspect molds would be appropriate as well as air sampling within the occupied space and the crawlspace relative to an outdoor control.
